Make sure you put your phone in the lines and you see it connect by they light on the front.
The light is perfect because it isn't blinding in the middle of the night when you just need a little light.
The speaker is okay, but it's not top quality but your not paying a ton and the speaker is nice to just listen to music in a small space.
